About the town Middelburg
Strolling through the ages
Middelburg is the capital of the islands province Zeeland. It has old monuments, museums and a variety of shops. There is a lot to be seen and done in this town which was fortified against the Vikings and since then has thrived as a centre of commerce. Between 1605 and 1795 the town had its golden age because of the East India Company. B&B Biervliet dates back to that time.
